100 Studio Produces New Pokémon Anime Short About Gardevoir

POKÉTOON short stars Yūma Uchida, Kana Hanazawa

The Pokémon Company began streaming a new "POKÉTOON" anime short on Friday. The short is titled "Ashita mo Sirnight to" (Tomorrow With Gardevoir Too).

The short stars Yūma Uchida as Yūgo and Kana Hanazawa as Gardevoir.

The short focuses on Yūgo, a deliveryman who spends his days lively at work every day. His partner Gardevoir is always at his side, watching over him. At some point in their past, they worked to become a champion, but their dream did not come true.

Yoshihide Ibata directed the short at 100 Studio, and Yōsuke Suzuki wrote the script. Yutaka Araki was the character designer and prop designer. Aoi Ishigami composed the music.

The POKÉTOON series of anime shorts debuted in June 2020 and so far has 18 entries. The shorts each focus on a single Pokémon.
