Aniplex, Sony Music Reveal SI-VIS: The Sound of Heroes Original TV Anime for October

Ayane Sakura, Sōma Saitō, Daisuke Namikawa, Nobunaga Shimazaki, Akari Kitō star in "Music x Hero" series
Aniplex and Sony Music revealed a new original television anime series titled SI-VIS: The Sound of Heroes that will debut on Fuji TV in October.
Fumiaki Maruto (Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend light novel author and anime scriptwriter) is overseeing and writing the series scripts. Hidari (Santa Company, Fractale, Phantom in the Twilight) is the original character designer.
The anime will star (from left to right in above image):
Ayane Sakura as Siren
Sōma Saitō as JUNE
Daisuke Namikawa as YOSUKE
Nobunaga Shimazaki as Sōji
Akari Kitō as μ (pronounced "myu")
Sony Music selected the vocal artists who will provide the singing voices for the characters, and will reveal those artists at a later date.
Aniplex and Sony Music had teased the new work with a countdown site on Thursday. The companies stated the anime would have the theme of "Music x Hero."
The story centers on the members of the SI-VIS co-ed vocal unit that is wildly popular both inside and outside Japan. Their true secret identity is a group of heroes who fight against a mysterious calamity threating to destroy the world. Through their live performances, they gather the power to fight.
