Crunchyroll Adds Nijiyon Animation 2 OVA, Will Livestream Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle Los Angeles Premiere

Chainsaw Man - The Compilation: Part 1 & 2 streams worldwide, excluding Asia

Crunchyroll added the three-episode original video anime (OVA) from Nijiyon Animation 2, the second season of the short television anime of Miyakohito's four-panel manga spinoff Nijiyon ~Love Live! Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Dōkōkai Yon-Koma, on Friday. The OVA comprises episodes 13 through 15 of the season and originally launched as part of the anime's Blu-ray Disc box release in June 2024.

Crunchyroll additionally announced on Saturday it will livestream the Los Angeles red carpet premiere of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle - Akaza Sairai, the first film in the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle trilogy. The stream will be available on the company's YouTube and Twitch channels on September 9 at 5:15 p.m. PDT (8:15 p.m. EDT).

Crunchyroll also began streaming the two-part compilation film of the Chainsaw Man anime titled Chainsaw Man - The Compilation: Part 1 & 2 worldwide, excluding Asia, on Saturday. The compilation films recap key moments from the television anime, and also include Chainsaw Days (Chainsaw Biyori), a newly animated adaptation of the original manga's bonus chapters.

Crunchyroll had announced last month it would stream the two-part compilation film in September.
