Webtoon-Based Live-Action Web Series Newbies to Premiere on October 27

Youth romance story depicts awkward, heartfelt experiences of 20-year-olds

The upcoming live-action web series Newbies, based on the webtoon of the same name by Yeo-reum Shin, will premiere on October 27 at 9:00 p.m. KST on the YouTube channel KBS Daese-nam.

Newbies is a youth romance story that depicts the awkward yet heartfelt experiences of 20-year-olds as they navigate love, dreams, and friendship in shared houses and on college campuses.

Actors Goo-hyun Jung and Jae-hyun Go star as Sae-bom and Ji-won, respectively, with special appearances by Sung-jin Kang, Ji-goo Kang, Yeon-hee Song, and others.

The webtoon was serialized on Naver Webtoon between 2021 and 2023.

Currently, an official English version of the webtoon is not available.
